The GNSS project is a network configuration system that consists of RIMS, EWAN (EGNOS Wide Area Network), MCC (Master Control Centre) and NLES (Navigation Land Earth Station). Turksat is involved in the GNSS Project by constructing the RIMS stations and doing regular maintenance work at the Turksat Golbasi campus.

Once the GNSS project becomes operational at the end of 2007, Turksat will provide range and position monitoring services as precise as one meter proximity to customers both in Turkey and the region.

For its research and development projects, Turksat is willing to cooperate with internationally acclaimed entities especially for satellite sub-system parts like thruster improvement, software development, antenna design and related fields.
