Mobile Government was opened to services by President Abdullah Gul as well

Eurasia's largest information and broadcasting trade fair, CeBIT IT Eurasia started in Istanbul on October 7th 2009 by President Abdullah Gul. After the exhibition opening, President Gul was launched “Mobile Government” in Turksat stand in hall 7.

Eurasia's largest information and broadcasting trade fair, CeBIT IT Eurasia, was opened by President Abdullah Gul, on October 7th 2009 Wednesday.

Many senior bureaucrats participated in Opening program held speech; Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim, North Cyprus Transportation Minister Hasan Taçov, Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler, the AK Party Deputy Chairman Nukhet Hotar with the CeBIT President Alexander Kuehnel, Interpromedya General Manager Zafer Kurdakul and also main sponsor of CeBIT Türksat -General Manager Dr. Özkan Dalbay.

Gul: " CeBIT Is One Of The World's Most Prestigious Fair"

As part of the opening program held at the meeting President Gul said that“Area of Information and Communication were taken special patronage in Turkey and in this field the R & D expenditures would fruit in 5-10 years.”

Gul drew attention on communication and broadcasting issues and developments, rapid changes in related to legal and administrative structure as a way of creation in Turkey also, drew attention on each of the communication innovation was not only related to these fields, Gul pointed out “Despite the economic crisis, the participation of large companies, this excitement, will increase the value of the fair,"

Minister Yıldırım: " We Will Do.Own Satellite and Aircraft of the Country”

In CeBIT IT Eurasia exhibition opening speech, Transport Minister Binali Yildirim said that “the new power in the world was information. In Turkey, as well as highway transportation, highway information were opened”. Minister also added “With the Republic of Turkey there had been a mobilization of reading and writting, however computer literacy became important now”.

Minister Yıldırım also pointed out “ In the field of information,, communication, and broadcasting Turkey, in recent years, has made significant investments.” He also gave information on Turkey’s transportation 2030 targets which was disgussed in "Transportation Council"held in last week. “Our goal is to make own aircrafts and satellite in 2030” he said.

Dr. Dalbay: “We Do Preparations Of Turksat 4A and 4B”

CeBIT IT Eurasia’s main sponsor Turksat General Manager Dr. Ozkan Dalbay, in his speech at the opening program, said that “the information and communication sector played a key role to exit from the economic crisis in the World”. He gave information on contribution of Turksat to information and communication sector and he said “"E-Government services was launched, Turksat 3A was launched, Turksat 4A and 4B preparations continued, Internet via satellite to the 5000 primary schools have been provided”. Dalbay also added that they aim to lay a Fiber cable to each household.

Mobile Government was launched to service by President Abdullah Gul

"Mobile Government"one of Mobile communication tools to use e-Government Portal, was opened to service by President Abdullah Gul after the opening of CeBIT IT Eurasia Exhibition. General Manager of Türksat Dr. Dalbay gave information about the study methods of Mobile Government to Transportation Minister Yıldırım and President Gul.

CeBIT Exhibition Continues Until Sunday

CeBIT IT Eurasia is organized in Istanbul Beylikdüzü Tüyap, Turksat, the main sponsor, has introduced its services in hall 7. Turksat will show the internet under the speed of 100 MB to visitors. Also within the scope of social responsibility projects in Turkey, World Space Week activities are being introduced. Concerned about youth space activities,this activity aimed to raise awareness among young people about space in the planetarium show, in Türksat stand. Fair will continue until Sunday evening October 11, 2009.
