SATELLITE FLEET AND SPECIFICATIONS

All control and monitoring activities for Türksat satellites are carried out at our Gölbaşı Central Campus.

The Main and Back-up Ground Control Stations located at two different points of Ankara, ensure that our satellites remain in orbit in an uninterrupted and safe manner with back-up antennas, electronic systems, data processing systems and other infrastructure hardware. Furthermore, all monitoring and control operations are managed from these stations so that Türksat satellites can be preserved in an excellent health, condition and configuration.

Both stations have fully backed-up Satellite Control System, Monitoring and Control System, Communication Monitoring Center, BB/RF Systems, Encryption Center, Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems and sub-systems.

Furthermore, the Dynamic Satellite Simulators at the Main and Back-up Ground Control Stations are used for the training of operators as well as testing and approving the operational procedures to be executed on the satellite.

The Main Ground Control Station, which has been included in the "World Tracking Network", can support the launch and orbiting of Türksat satellites and other satellites.
