Turksat 2A: 42° East

TÜRKSAT-2A was launched on 10 January 2001 with Ariane 4 rocket and started service in February 2001.

Serving at the same location with TÜRKSAT-3A on 42° East longitude, with an EIRP (Effective Isotropic Radiated Power) of more than 50 dBW within a broad coverage area, TÜRKSAT-2A satellite can offer services to a vast geography including Europe and Central Asia, Middle East and Russia.
