The Information Processing Center Administrators Seminar (BİMY) organized by Turkish Informatics Association (TBD) took place in Antalya between 27-30 April.

At this years “Development in IT, Development with IT” themed event where participants from public intuitions and the private sector attended, the focus was mainly on research and development, production and employment issues.

In his opening speech, Development Minister Lütfi Elvan emphasized the importance of e-transformation and stated that strong communities in the coming period will be able to effectively manage the digitization process.

At the “4th Industrial Revolution and Producing with Informatics Turkey” panel, where Türksat participated as session sponsor, Uğur Yasin Özbey, from the Information Technology Development and Project Management Directorate participated as a panelist with his speech on intelligent cities. Participants were given information about IT services at the stand.

At the end of the program Vice President Dr. Halil Yeşilçimen accepted a plaque on behalf of Türksat.
