In his speech, Sayan stated that one of the most important tools that direct the economy in Turkey, as in the whole world, is the manufacturing industry, and pointed out that they see that industrialized, developing and economically successful countries have developed a lively and active manufacturing sector. Pointing out that SMEs, which constitute 99.8 percent of active companies in Turkey, are the main source of economic growth and business development, Sayan said, "There are 3.2 million SMEs in our country compared to 7 thousand large companies operating in the industry and service sectors. Our economy "Our SMEs, which are the main dynamo, realize 72 percent of employment, half of the total turnover and 37 percent of total exports." he said.
Reminding that SMEs were given support such as purchasing conditions in 3G and 4.5G tenders, Sayan said, "We decided to purchase at least 10 percent of the infrastructure investments of large companies in the communications sector from SMEs. But unfortunately, neither our SMEs nor our large companies "They found a way around these issues. The big company was importing it itself and then selling it to the company it would buy through our SMEs. To prevent this, we changed the SME purchasing requirement to SMEs that manufacture and produce added value in Turkey," he said. Stating that both local and national rates have increased over the past period, Sayan said, "Although the rate of purchases from SMEs in the communication sector is still not at the level we want, we are trying to do our best in terms of the state supporting SMEs by increasing the rate of purchases from SMEs engaged in production." said.
