Minister Ahmet Arslan’s November 24th Teacher’s Day Message

Always a source of hope and dynamism for our country, it is the presence of the youth who looks at the future with confidence. Undoubtedly, the greatest labor at this point belongs to our teachers, who work devotedly throughout our country. Our teachers, who look after the future with confidence and put in work on this path, are the assurance of a strong Turkey. For this reason, the future of this country will be much brighter thanks to our teachers who have never lost their love for humanity, never lost their idealism, or have not become indifferent to the developments in the world.

As a government that has adopted the concept “nurture the people for the perpetuity of the state” any kind of investment made to human is a great asset, we hold our teachers in high esteem, and we appreciate their labor.

On this occasion in which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk took the title of ‘head teacher’ on 24 November 1928, we have been celebrating it as Teacher’s Day every year since 1981, I wish this day to be beneficial to all of our teachers.
