The Plenipotentiary Conference (PP), the highest and most authoritative conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), of which Turkey is a founding member, is being held in Bucharest, Romania on 26 September-14 October 2022.
At the Conference, where ITU senior executives, members of the Radio Regulatory Board (RRB) and ITU Council, where critical decisions on satellite communications are taken, are elected, Hasan Hüseyin ERTOK, General Manager of TÜRKSAT A.Ş., Selman DEMİREL, Deputy General Manager of Satellite Services, and employees of the Frequency Coordination and International Regulation Directorate take part in the Turkish Delegation and participate in the activities.
At the Conference, where ITU's basic policy, strategic plan and budget are adopted, work is also being carried out on the Union's founding law and charter.
