Türksat’s objective in managing information security and its Information Security Strategy is to protect critical infrastructure and corporate assets against cyber threats and to meet regulatory requirements in this area.
Information security aims to ensure the protection of information and information assets in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, within the framework of the principles of need-to-know, zero trust, segregation of duties, non-repudiation, and accountability. It also seeks to safeguard against all threats that may arise internally and/or externally, whether intentional or accidental; to manage risks; to increase employees’ awareness of information security; to ensure the continuity of services with minimal interruption; and to carry out all related activities effectively, accurately and securely.
