A cooperation agreement has been signed between Türksat and Roketsan regarding the procurement of satellite communication solutions.
Following discussions held at the SAHA 2026 International Defence, Aviation and Space Industry Fair, held at the Istanbul Exhibition Centre, Türksat and Roketsan have entered into a collaboration regarding the procurement of satellite communication solutions. The agreement relating to this collaboration was signed by Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, General Manager of Türksat A.Ş., and Murat İkinci, General Manager of Roketsan. Atalay stated that they had formalised a phase of their ongoing work with Roketsan today, saying, “We have signed a cooperation agreement to utilise our capacity and expertise in Roketsan’s projects. I hope this will be beneficial for both our companies and our country.” İkinci also noted that collaborating with an established institution like Türksat would further strengthen Roketsan’s position in the defence industry, adding, “I believe we will be able to implement much deeper collaborations with Türksat regarding the launch of satellites, which also fall within Roketsan’s area of interest.”
