The Space Technology Conference 2026 (STC 2026), which opened its doors to bring together technology leaders and satellite operators of Central Asia, was held with the participation of Türksat. In his speech at the STC 2026 conference, Türksat General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay emphasized that Türksat is ready to share its technological expertise and disaster backup models with the Turkestan region, and met with numerous institution officials, including the delegation from the Tajikistan Digital Development and Satellite Communication Centre, to discuss regional cooperation opportunities and strategic partnerships. Speaking at the session titled “Shaping the Future of Space in Central Eurasia: Views from the Region's Space Leaders,” Türksat General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay emphasized that Türksat is a global player that has reached the technological maturity to offer turnkey in-flight internet (IFC) services. Stating that they have positioned Türksat as a decisive player in the international IFC market, Atalay noted that this capacity is not only a convenience but also a direct "lifeline" during times of crisis and disaster. Expressing their readiness to share the disaster backup models and Ka-Band mobile antenna solutions successfully tested in Turkey with the entire Turkestan region, Atalay underlined that Türksat's doors are wide open to friendly and brotherly regions in technology transfer and joint infrastructure development processes. With the completion of STC 2026, Türksat passed another important threshold in strengthening its technological ties with the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States.
