Adil Karaismailoğlu Minister of Transport and Infrastructure took over the task from Cahit Turhan.

In his speech at the ceremony held at the ministry, Karaismailoğlu reminded everyone that towards the end of September 2019, he started to work as Deputy Minister through the courtesy extended to him by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and former Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Cahit Turhan.  

Stating that he has always been proud to work at the Ministry, Karaismailoğlu said, “We tried to carry out vital operations by benefitting from the valuable knowledge and experience of our esteemed Minister. We learned a lot from him in such a short period of time.”

Karaismailoğlu, emphasized that he will put forth great effort to be worthy of the trust of President Erdoğan, who has assigned his new position to him. He said the following:

 “We will do everything we can to be worthy of this task. There are unique projects waiting in front of us that will create great noise throughout the world, and contribute to the development and the future of our country. Together we will all execute them very quickly. While doing so, we will definitely benefit from the knowledge and experience of our respected Minister. I thank him very much for his contributions to our ministry and government.”

Turhan stated that during his term in office, under the leadership of President Erdoğan, they carried out many services related to the access and transportation of the country. He added the following:

“Our dear president had assigned us to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of his first cabinet as part of the new state system. It was an important responsibility and an important task. We have always been aware of this. Like our ministers in the previous years, I have handed off what I have been entrusted with to our new minister, Karaismailoğlu, who will carry out this task from here on. May God guide and help you. I believe that our ministry will provide better service under the leadership of our President and under the captainship of our new minister. I wish you success in your future work.”
