A strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Türksat A.Ş. and the Oman-based İMTAC company within the scope of the "OMNEX 2026 Oman-Turkey Business Forum and International Trade Fair" held in Muscat, the capital of Oman. The OMNEX 2026 Oman-Turkey Business Forum and International Trade Fair, organized to strengthen economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Oman, opened its doors in Muscat. Following the opening ceremony, which was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Trade Sezai Uçarmak, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlim Yayma Foundation, Bilal Erdoğan, a signing ceremony was held between Türksat and the Oman-based Industrial Management Technology & Contracting LLC (İMTAC). -Digital Cooperation Protocol Between Türksat and İMTAC
At the ceremony held following the opening speeches, Türksat A.Ş. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Türksat and İMTAC, one of Oman's leading technology companies. The MoU, signed by Türksat General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay and İMTAC CEO Faisal Ali Al Tamimi, establishes the process of technology sharing and joint project development between the two institutions. Türksat e-Government Deputy General Manager Orhan Koca and e-Government Business Development and Project Management Director Fatih Işık were also present at the signing ceremony. At OMNEX 2026, which focuses on defence industry, aviation, border security, and critical infrastructure security, Türksat will showcase its e-Government, smart cities, and e-Transformation solutions, as well as its satellite communication, cybersecurity, and smart systems products. Opportunities for collaboration between the institutions will also be evaluated during high-level meetings held within the scope of the fair.
