TEKNOFEST, the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, opened its doors to technology and science enthusiasts. Türksat took its place in the Ankara leg of TEKNOFEST with its new projects and Türksat Kids Club.

At the event, which was held at Ankara Etimesgut Airport and will continue until September 3, 2023, Türksat exhibited its domestic and national systems at stand A-4.

On the first day of Teknofest, organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Türksat Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek, Türksat General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Türksat Deputy General Manager of Administrative and Financial Affairs Ömer Faruk Çöllüoğlu, Türksat Satellite Services Deputy General Manager Dr. Selman Demirel and Deputy General Manager of Information Services Ahmet Savaş attended.

The Türksat stand, which hosted many workshops as well as Türksat 5B models, was one of the stands that attracted the most attention on the first day of TEKNOFEST. Türksat brought together young people who are interested in technology and space with the "Space Corridor", "VR Türksat Satellite and Space Tour" and "Learning-Based Test Playground" with its 300 square meter giant stand at the festival.

Türksat Kids Club welcomed its child visitors with its unique format for the first time. Children who participated in bag painting and model workshops at the club received participation certificates issued in their names. The "Space Corridor" at the Türksat stand presented important information that will be engraved in the memories of the little ones in a different atmosphere. With the "VR Türksat Satellite" virtual reality tour, the little ones had the opportunity to see and get to know Türksat satellites in space.
